A great, natural health design on the box, and with a name like FLAX PLUS, it has got to be healthy, right?

Solid answer: YES

This is a good source of fiber (5g per serving) plus 4g protein and ZERO trans fat. Oh, and it is CERTIFIED ORGANIC by the USDA.

Upon opening the box, there is an odd smell of plastic (from the bag inside). The smell does not carry over into the cereal, but it was puzzling.

Yes, this flax seed cereal is healthy, but nothing ground-breaking as far as the percents of iron, vitamin A, or vitamin C.

Worth a repeat purchase? Yes. The taste is not your ordinary Wheaties or bran flakes. The cereal tastes healthy and that natural outdoor flavor, like ‘wheat farm fresh’ … with FLAX SEEDS!
