Another day, another good healthy juice to drink. This one is made by Northland and is called Berry Berry Maqui. What is Maqui juice? Maqui juice is made from the berry of the same name, which is grown in Chile. One health benefit is that the berry is very high in anti-oxidants.  The Maqui berry has a very very dark juice color, which is why the Northland bottle says “The Power of the Dark Fruit” on the label. The other health benefit of the berry is that it has the ability to help with weight control (see FoxNews article, below)

The juice, a blend of 8 different juices, is a very great juice taste,

Just how much of the Maqui is in this 100%  juice is not known as the blend also contains Apple, Pear, Blueberry, Boysenberry,  Pomegranate, and Elderberry. All are great dark fruits with health benefits. The bottle lists 100% Vitamin C, and 10% of Vitamin A and E. Zero fat, and gluten free. Price was $3.75 (and was Buy One Get One Free) in a grocery store sale from February 2012. This could be the best tasting dark fruit juice ever. Really.
